NAOMI BRUTON MAIN STAGE
•The Main Stage is named after one of TBAAL’s preeminent volunteers and prominent Dallas actress, Naomi Bruton. She performed in non-African American theaters in the 1940s through the 1970s.
•In 1974, Ms Bruton co-founded Dallas Minority Rep Theatre with actress Irma P. Hall, Carol Frost and others
•An excellent venue for major productions, concerts, workshops, etc.
•Seats 1,730 (4 private star dressing rooms and 2 large chorus dressing areas)

CLARENCE MUSE CAFÉ THEATRE
•Intimate café, cabaret-style theatre named after the first African American actor, Clarence Muse, to “star” in a film
•Known as the”Dean of Black Actors”, Muse was the 1st person to make a substantial financial contribution to TBAAL
•Excellent venue for comedy and one-man/woman theatre shows, concerts, and spoken word performances
•Seats 250, (3 dressing rooms and a bar area).
•General Cost: $2,075 @ 8 hours including set-up/show/strike

ESTHER ROLLE LOUNGE
•Named after the stage, film and television Emmy and Image awarding winning actress best remembered as Florida Evans, a sharp, but caring housekeeper-a character she played on two comedy series, Maude and Good Times. Ms. Rolle was a member of the Shogola Obola Dance Company and a founding member of the New York City based famed Negro Ensemble Company.
