Retired Chicago anchor, MERRI DEE, pens a heartrending true story about her and her guest's kidnapping at gun point while leaving a TV broadcast. Driven to a wooded area, the two were shot in the head by their captor and left for dead. Dee crawled to a nearby highway where she was rescued and taken to a hospital. Doctors did not expect her to live. Twice, she was given her last rites including one by her personal friend, Reverend Jesse Jackson. This riveting memoir is a testament of her resilience, faith and forgiveness and she’ll be at the breakfast table to talk about it!

The concert features special guest artists TONY TERRY and RAHSAAN PATTERSON Conceived and produced by CURTIS KING. Conducted by JOHN MARK TATUM, PAT KESSEE and CLARK JOSEPH.
